For the second exhibition abroad since the pandemic, the show actually went much better than expected!
After finally getting through customs clearance, which was very slow due to all the extra covid checks (see below)
and a short taxi ride later to the exhibition hall (DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE) we were greeted by our stand builders and a lovely BGA stand being prepped.
After lugging the products over from the UK, pre drilled and threaded, we were able to apply them fairly quickly to the acrylic perspex on the pods. Here’s the finished product!
Day 1 started off manic with just enough time to fit a 10 minute lunch in. The stand was non-stop until around 5pm.
Day 2 quietened down a little, but gave more opportunities for potential customers who may not have had the chance on day 1 to get involved.
By day 3 we had around 180 new potential customer lead forms filled out ready to be uploaded into our CRM and contacted to set up accounts post show.
The feedback we had from countries such as Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, Turkey, etc was phenomenal. It’s crazy to see how much BGA is growing throughout export and how much everyone we spoke to knew about our company.
In conclusion, it was great to be back in front of customers face to face and building relationships with more potential partners. We look forward to the next event in April, which will be AAAA Melbourne, Australia.
