BGA Celebrates Prestigious King’s Award for International Trade with Special Guest.
Swindon, UK – October 2024 – BG Automotive (BGA), a key player in the global automotive aftermarket, celebrated a landmark achievement last week as it was awarded the prestigious King’s Award for International Trade. Joining the occasion was a very special guest, Sarah Troughton, The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire and second cousin to King Charles III, who officially presented BGA with the award and ceremonial scroll.
The day began with warm welcomes as The Lord Lieutenant and other invited guests were introduced to the world of BGA. They enjoyed a guided tour through the company’s bustling offices, expansive warehouse, and cutting-edge Research and Development center. Guests were treated to live demonstrations, showcasing how BGA tests each of its products against OEM standards, underscoring the company’s commitment to not only meet but often exceed quality expectations.
The tour highlighted BGA’s innovation, dedication, and drive to deliver the very best products to the market.
More than 150 BGA team members joined the celebrations, creating a lively atmosphere complemented by two food vans serving up wood-fired pizzas and smash patty burgers – a treat for the hardworking team at BGA’s UK offices and warehouse.
And while the autumn weather initially kept everyone guessing, the skies cleared, and the afternoon turned sunny and mild, allowing for a stunning company photo with the enormous BGA/King’s Award flag proudly displayed. There’s even talk of installing the flag atop a 40-meter flagpole for future celebrations!
Reflecting on the achievement, Chris Cameron, BGA’s Managing Director, expressed heartfelt appreciation: “This award means so much to us.
