This year’s Auto Trade Expo Ireland, held at RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin, was another success for BGA. Represented by Todd Kellond, Chris Veitch, and Teresa Batchelor, our team brought excitement and innovation to the Irish market from our 18 sqm stand, located right at the entrance for prime visibility.
Connecting with Mechanics and Customers
The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet customers and engage directly with mechanics about BGA’s premium product range and unmatched quality. Mechanics were particularly impressed with our offering, and many walked away with BGA merchandise—but only if they were brave enough to score over 700 on our boxing machine challenge!
Record-Breaking Timing Chain Competition & Boxing Machine
A key attraction at the stand was our Boxing Machine & Timing Chain Speedfitting competition, where competitors had the chance to set new records. And we did it again! The record was broken with a lightning-fast time of 19.8 seconds, quicker than the previous shows in both London and Hungary. The boxing machine high score was 907, however, this differentiates throughout events dependant on the machine.
The Journey
The journey to Dublin was as smooth as the event itself. BGA’s trusty van carried all our equipment from Swindon to Dublin via the Holyhead ferry, offering a scenic route through Wales, which made for a pleasant drive.
Great Organisation and Evenings Out
A huge thanks to AutoPub Ireland for the seamless event setup and organisation, making the experience enjoyable for both exhibitors and attendees. Evenings were spent with customers at the Clayton Hotel, and we even ventured out to Temple Bar—a Dublin classic that exceeded expectations!
Looking Ahead
With new connections made and great feedback on our products, we’re excited for the next Auto Trade Expo in 2026. We look forward to returning bigger and better!
